Alright, most of you guys have probably never heard of this guy.

He was born in Prague 27 years ago. He would become a REAL Christmas Miracle, born on December 24th.

I'm not sure how he did it, but he has this god-given talent of music and writing music. He wrote his first song, Supernothing (http://youtube.com/watch?v=euWjHK4svZ8), at Age 15 for his band "Gimp" with his brother, Achilles, on violin.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=mDDEg1iDFZE <-- Probably won't like this: warning, or the one before this.

There's the sped up version, in Keasbey Nights by Catch 22 (Who I'll explain later and Streetlight Manifesto, which I'll also explain later. I tend to like the sped up version more, but his Gimp version is just clear that this is not your average human being).

Then, still in High School, now playing as the lead singer, rhythm guitar, song-writer for Catch 22, he made one of the most popular ska songs, Keasbey Nights (http://youtube.com/watch?v=DPH77q8iyAE).

He moved onto his next project, BOTAR (Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution), which I am just hooked on. They are a very large band somewhere inbetween ska and classical music. Here's "Here's To Life (http://youtube.com/watch?v=qDqFrbQTsW4)" <-- Won't like this either

You can see how deep those lyrics mean. It kind of puts me in awe. I just love the violin/cello/piano, I believe they complement the Streetlight Manifesto version (http://youtube.com/watch?v=3BoUc3To02E&feature=related) fantastically. <-- There's where it's at.

So, after Catch 22, he brought the band to a new name, Streetlight Manifesto, where they have released 3 albums. A remake of Keasbey Nights, Everything Goes Numb, and recently, Somewhere in the Between

You can wikipedia any of these albums and find a song to listen to on youtube. They are all fantastic. Majors hits though include "Keasbey Nights", "Everything Went Numb", "A Better Place, A Better Time". Although I can listen to anything he's made, especially the brand new album. Can't get enough of that.

I believe it's amazing how talented this guy is. Just wondering what any of you think of his music and if you agree with me. It's just magic watching his works unfold.

I have to agree with GoF on this one... I just heard some song called "Point / Counterpoint", and it sounded like Snowwhite and the seven dwarves on drugs.

Truly, I don't understand what you all are so mad about with these guys...

He makes me want to kill myself. What language is he "singing" in?

I sure as hell didn't. I'd normally give it a try... but this is the farthest you get from my music taste, except for Opera and Jazz...

Lol, did you listen to the more rockish stuff KoK? The Streetlight Manifesto stuff might be more you. Some people just hate horns. I myself love them, and I love rock, so it's a perfect combination for me.

Then I just think BOTAR sounds nice and they have good music.

I listened to one song, and that was, honestly, a pretty bad first impression. If you find me their heaviest/rockiest song, I'll listen to it. I promise :D I'm always open to give second chances. "Always" as in "almost all the time" :D

But those names he give his bands... They remind me of medieval-ghetto-knights or something. "Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution"?! Someone smokes too much weed... (No offence to Sumilion or Raymond :p)

But what will he make up next? "Hot Deerhoofs of the Remaining Smoke" ?? If his next bands name is something like that... I'll have to sue them for... something...

EDIT: This ska band/song may be a little more towards your liking. They were the pioneers "ska-core" or the 3rd wave of ska.

The Impression That I Get - The Mighty Mighty Bosstones

Their "rockiest" song is definitely A Moment of Violence, but I don't think it's anywhere near their best. In fact, I'd say it's the worst, but meh, here it is:

A Moment of Violence (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qVauTtBUeo)

In fact, it's not that rockish. OK, OK, Down, Down, Down to Mephisto's Cafe might be the most rockish.

Down, Down, Down To Mephisto's Cafe - Joined in Progress And Not At The Rocky Part Lol (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ThelshNOnk&feature=related) Go to 1:26 and you'll get the Rock part.
We Will Fall Together (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7-sk_uzQUY&feature=related)
A Better Place, A Better Time (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9k2KfvuiGA&feature=related)

WWFT is a really rocky song too. And give ABP, ABT a shot. The beginning is really not rocky, just basically guitar. But it's still catchy and good (to me). Go to like 2:30 if you want some of the Rock stuff, it's also really good quality, that you can actually hear..great lyrics.

And when you wake up, everything's gunna be fineeeeeeee, guarentee that you wake in a better place, in a better timeeeeee. So you're tired of livin', and you feel like you might give in', well don't. It's not your time.

And of course... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6yapFnxeLo&feature=related . Snow White and the 7 Dwarves on WEED!

@IEJB: Nothing of it is my style :S I want a great riff. Those damn trumpets or whatever it is, are ruining it all. And the rhythms sound too "happy". Reminds me, somehow, of an old-care-centre...

Try finding a song called Anthem by Trivium. That's a riff and a sound I like.

Ok, we just have different music tastes. Maybe I just like brass instruments lol. I guess I'm a super, I'm a nothing, I'm a no one, going nowhere fast. But I don't care, But I don't care...:P

That version is really slow when I'm listening to it...jeeeez.
