Yay long names :p

Anyway, this is the current state of my remix of Tracking Treasure Down feat. Molly by Gabriel & Dresden. Go look on YouTube or eSnips for the original track :)

There's still some things wrong with it. The Bass's pre-gain needs to be increased when it gets it's two measure long solo, and most of the lyrics fell off beat again :(

I also have a MySpace Band Page (http://www.myspace.com/WidgetInYourPants) :)

Comments are always appreciated (I mean replies, not MySpace comments or whatever :p)

[Also, I finally got my copy of FruityLoops Studio 7 in the mail today (was supposed to come before christmas :duh: ) so now I actually have all the rights and stuff to distribute my music :)]

Edit: If someone is willing to write+sing a song, I'm just as willing to put music to it provided you can record it at a decentish quality somehow :) (I'm not that good at using the electric guitar emulator still, metalish songs shouldn't be that big of a problem, but acoustic guitars are still a bitch for me)

Synthesized guitar tones are (almost always) not going to sound good. Maybe for techno, but its not really guitar. Acoustic guitar really has to be recorded using a condensor microphone with preamps for any kind of quality. For electric guitars, the Digitech RP350 Effects Processor has USB capability and free downloadable drivers. This records excellent quality for a price of only $200 dollars. Not to mention it has a bajillion effects. This only works if you can actually play guitar though...

Just some advice for all the SRL guitarists lol.

I haven't heard the original so I'm not sure how much you really did with it, but it sounds nice.
