Two questions concerning scripts

I'm somewhat new to the world of scripting although I'd like to think I'm catching on quickly...

I have SCAR 3.13 and I tried using several online scripts that always ended up missing an 'include'. I later realized these were old scripts and that I needed SRL 4 with the includes, which would contain usable, up-to-date rs2 scripts (I'm actually trying to get a usable autominer+banker but have had quite little success:( )

So I go to 'file' and download SRL 4 and the includes, and I try running the mining script in the includes/SRL/SRL/skill and I am met with the following:

Failed when compiling
Line 167: [Error] (167:1): Unknown identifier 'GameTab' in script C:\Documents and Settings\My Compy\Desktop\My stuffs\SCAR 3.13\includes\SRL\SRL\skill\Mining.scar

What is the problem? is this supposed to be an actual usable mining script or is it a tool to help script writers? where might I find a usable autominer script? (I've been searching for several days now...)

The other question: what am I to do with the PH.scar file in the 'includes' folder? or does that require no action?

sorry if I sound nooby but I guess I am kind of a noob at the whole scripting thing... I searched for the answers to my questions here and elsewhere with no success. thanks for any help.

IT should have worked, but since runescape has been updated you need you install the new stuff. I don't think scar has been updated ye

PH, leave it or delete it, sorry @ it's devs, but it's useless for RS cheating.

Right now, I'm not sure that any scripts work at all. We just had an update, so SRL works, but a new SCAR and new/updated scripts still need to be released before we can start macroing again.

I think that you didn't download the current revision as you only talk about downloading from the "file" section and your GameTab error doesn't have anything to do with the latest update. Follow these 2 guides and you should be set.

Indeed many scripts won't work as they need to be updated to the current Rev#10, shouldn't take that long as most writers are updating them now.

I had suspected that the recent security updates on RS might be a/the cause of my problems, since it was more recent than most of the scripts and updates I found. At least the problem probably wasn't me as I feared... I guess I'll use cruelminer or something without bank until then, or take a stab at writing a script myself... thanks bunches for the help.:)
