hi im a new member of the forums. just joined a few days ago.

i have scar and i downloaded a thing called subversion or something. what i dont understand is what "subversion is used for".

i tried a woodcutting auto and it worked fine, even though i have done nothing to the "subversion"


what is SRL revision 10 also?

are there 3 porgrams i need that being: "revision", "srl revision 10" and scar.

or what? i really dont get it. sorry if i waisted anyones time or if i posted in the wrong section of the forums. furthermore i know that im not that good at all of this yet. but i am wiling to learn.


edit: i just payed 5 dolar donation cause i think this site is pretty cool. after i payed it said i can get full acces to the site or something.
i mainly been interested in this cause im loking for a good auto in high alch, minning iron ore and dropping them and a good wc and fisher for my main. so yeah. after i played aorund with it i wanna try my own 1 if it is possible.

Theres a tutorial about subverison in the tutorial section.

SRL revision 10 just means that the most current version of scar has been revised 10 times. By downloading the most recent version of scar, you automatically have revision 10. Really, all you need to run your scripts is SRL and SCAR.

(frankly, I'm not 100% sure so if someone sees that this is wrong please let me know)

Scar is a program that allows you to run scripts.
SRL is the scar resource library which makes it easier to run/write scripts as common functions, etc are already included.
Subversion is the way to download the latest revision of SRL.

When you play RS a file called Random.dat is put on your computer. Jagex uses this file to check which accounts are being accessed on a computer through Random.dat. So if one of your accounts is banned, all your other account can be traced and banned as well. When you use unsigned, this file is not put on your comp thus your chance of a mass ban is slimmed.
