my teacher promoted me to a grade higher programming class and he recommend for me to get linux, and after i tried it for few seconds and hear about its pro and cons(not really) i decide to get it, but before i do that, i got a question.
DOES SCAR (RS,SUBVERSION,SVN, INTERNET?) WORK'S ON LINUX???

Like infested999 said, you'll need to learn how to use wine. It works if you use wine right.

It's a program (is that what I should call it?) that lets you run windows programs.
is it like a vm on linux or just an active x like program

Uhh, heh? Not understanding why you hate wine and linux...
well maby i over reacted abit. should i see a therapyist? eh?, i might buy an lap top and test linux on it.
what other options do you have other than using wine? is there a special vm for windows on linux? or use wine to run a vm and use scar?

Wine works, so stfu about any other options ;)
err, then i'd have to put up with put i the coordinate of the screen... althou i do not know how to even find the coordinate, so can one help me on that?

Yes, edit your wine config file to have a seperate desktop, then install windows firefox+java in Wine, then crosshair just works fine :)
