i love to auto but... i would hate it for my main to get banned along with my bot :(

No auto is 100% safe...

But scar comes pretty close. It depends what scripts you use too. A crappy script may lead to a fast ban. All depends on the script. I've never been banned along with many other people, but I also autoed smartly.

I never got Banned too and i auto already like 5 weeks or something

It's all about the script. If the script uses the propper functions (No sendkeys or movemousesmooth) with all the proper failsafes then it's almost 100% safe. However nothing is 100% safe. If you auto correctly (Search it) then there is a very low chance of you getting banned.

first of all try to stay away from using your main to auto, and your supposed to have like 10 guys or over for autoing, thats what SRL is all about. Look in the tutorials section(Search) for Making an autoing army. Its a good tut, im not sure who wrote it though

Yeah it is safe, depending on the script you use.

I've autoed to 99 fletching on my main :D.

Some people pointed out that playing legit but doing the same thing for hours at a time got their friends banned. So there is no 100% safe thing you can do. Jagex reserves the right to ban you for no reason at all.

But SRL has yet to get any of my accounts banned. Stick with good, popular scripts and use multiple accounts for short periods of time.

i have autoed prior to the whole new "3,000 gp" wealth transfer limit i was wondering is it safe to use wizzups ess miner right now... not like as in "i am new, is it safe?" i already know SCAR USED to be safe prior to the new rules but i thought it unsafe cuz they said they are going to start "cracking down" on botters
yes i h8 the new 3000gp system THAT is why i auto with my main but do it RARELY

I'm using signed, and i'm just fine. :)
But everything depends on the script, and how many players u use, and the time using. ;)

If Scar was safe before, Scar is even safer now. As Jagex "improves" their macroing detection, SRL alongside with Scar only get better and better at mimicking human behavior. Auto reasonably and it will always be safe with SRL/Scar

Be smart about it. Don't use an obvious name/ clothes. Try to wear some decent Armour. And try to check on your bot every once in a while.

it only depents on what script you use and how long you use it...
could i use it when i go to school? (8hours) or would that become to obvious?

Don't use anything that doesn't have good anti-ban and randoms finding. Randoms are a fast way to get banned.

i think that is relatively safe, but there is always a chance that your account will be banned. you just have to live with it if it is anyway.

I have never gotten banned from using SCAR or iBot.

No I don't think you'll be banned. SCAR is a good program.
I do have a funny story...at least to me. I've been autoing in the fight caves every night...and sometimes all day too...since about September '07. I stopped for one day because I kinda wanted to start playing the game again...just to train some other skills and do a few quests. I went out to the Grand Exchange and bought a shit load of items. I log out for a few hours and try to log in again, only to find that Jagex had given me a 10 day ban on my account and .5 black marks because they thought I was using macros ahaha! I macro for 5 months...stop for one day to leave the fight caves and do some quests...and they think I'm macroing. wow :duh:!
Anyway, I'm back to macroing in the fight caves...and since I'm back on SRL forums I've seen some pretty cool scripts which I'm trying out as well (h)

i dont really think its worth the risk getting banned on a main also u could train more than one skill to be less obvious

i actually got temp banned this after noon but i think it was only because ive been autoing for the last couple days straight with a nooby script
