Please help, msn problems!

First off, sorry if this is the wrong section. I don't think we got any, general help section. Anyways, for weeks now I'v been getting this error:

while trying to log into msn. I don't know why and I'm 99.9% sure its not a virus. Seriously...I know computers prety well, its not a virus. (lol aparently not well enough :rolleyes: ). If anyone knows how to fix this please tell me. I have already uninstaled and reinstaled it, and I still get the same problem.

Oh, btw the trouble shoot doesn't do shit :fiery: .

Hmm.. I have had that problem aswell, my brother said that MSN was offline for everyone in that state.. I waited about 1 or 2 hours and it was fixed

Yeah, once in a while they have to take it down, either from abusive use or to fix something.

If it has been happening for weeks maybe its a firewall problem. Or have you installed any new firewall software in these past weeks? Sometime Msn does that to me but only for a few hours, and most of the time if i click troubleshoot and repair it solves the problem.

I got got this before, I think All I had to do was go to My Documents/ReceivedFiles/ then delete the folder that has part of your MSN username in it. Empty recycle bin, all filed ^^.

Oh, sorry guys I fixed it a while ago. It was my computer date was mixed up. See, I downloaded WinZip a while ago and my free trial is over, so whenever I want to use it I change comp date and I use the free trial again; I guess I forgot to change the year back from 2007 to 2008 and my msn wouldn't work. Admin / Mod can close now.

I had the same problem, just check and make sure your date is correct.
