Why not Vista But xp?

Hey Guys a lot of ppl say they have to downgrade to xp to work scar, Is this true? Because im on vista and havnt used scar yet. If this is true, What is the problem with Vista? Whats different with XP?

scar works fine on vista thats what i run and ive had no trouble

Make sure you've checked common things like Administrator Privileges and maybe try compatibility tab.

So there really isnt any problems with vista? Its just that people like XP better?

yea UAC can get a bit frustrating and u have to make sure that u run scar as an admin when u want to update thru svn but thats about it

if you right click scar then ' run as administrator ' it will work :)

but yes xp pwns everything :D

If you install it to the root of a drive e.g. C:\Scar3.14 you should be fine or as other say run it as administrator it works ok..

Thanks a lot guys, I could always run it without have to run it as a admin, its just that i though maybe there was a problem while running scripts
