I have the first iPod nano, Just replaced the battery a few dies ago it died lol

iPod nano's can run videos if you install linux on them :)

I got the first big ass ipod 20 gig with color screen, but it has been dead for about 2 years now.. it wont start but i dont really care because i hate that mp3 player cuz mine is so big. So i have been using my nokia n95 (2gig) instead.. but now i have broken it because i got pissed of :/

I just bought a 8gig nano off my friend for approx. 18 dollars and 68 dollars deleted debt. Hows that?

Hahaha, anyway, I was looking to buy an iPod Nano about a year and a half ago when my sister got a new laptop for school and it came w/ an iPod Nano. She had a mini at the time, so she gave it to me, and now I've formatted it and ska-i-fied it and had it for the past year and a half. Free iPod FTW!

I am leaning towards selling my Nano, and buying a 5th Gen Video...

I get a bigger screen, 22 more gig of storage space, and iPodLinux :)

Classics are crap. Video's are amazing.

Classics:
-Encrypted firmware
-Ugly UI (IMO)
-Better processor, but what good if you can't use it (no custom apps, etc)

Videos:
-Easily hackable
-Easily themeable
-Okay standard UI, great with some touch ups.

2gig iPod Nano non-video, came with my computer... its been totally full since I got it.
4gig iPod Mini - doesn't work anymore. The battery died and I got the nano above free with my new computer so I didn't bother trying to fix the battery.
Also have a phone with a 2gig micro card which can play music, but I don't have anything on there atm since I don't need it.

But it can be used as an MP3 player. Like, a phone isn't an MP3 player, but loads of people use it as one anyway.

Got it in 2004. Left it in snow for 3 weeks by accident. Dropped it on the asphalt numerous amounts of times. Worked fine until last year the battery died, probably would still work fine if I replaced it.

Now it makes a nice paperweight :)

im posting from my touch 16gb jailbroken 1.1.2 i also have a 1st gen nano with ipod linux,rockbox and the apple firmware is hacked with ipod wizard.

@runescapian mxtube is a must, so is the gba,snes,psx and genesis emulators

I own a pink 4gb iPod Mini, will have to replace it soon though since the battery is getting a bit unreliable and it sometimes dies at 90% battery.

There's only one small (pretty easy) part where you just might end up breaking it. Trust me, the iPod Touch isn't really worth it until you jailbreak it ;)

Hahah I have to agree with you, recently got an iPod touch. I don't see whats so "amazing" about it.. Especially how you must jailbreak it to have it do something useful.

It's difficult for some people, and may mess up your iphone/itouch.
