Scar Disguises

I was just wondering whether in a script you actually need to waste 20+ lines just to make a disguise, can Jagex actually see which windows you have open and all that. Or is it just a way for people to get longer scripts?

I am pretty sure it is illegal for a program to find out what other programs/their titles are. Disguise := Obsolete IMO, but it is still fun to use :)

i use it to give me real time proggies, like done X ammount of loads or wc lvl is.. lol

Kk, I thought it was for people just to add extra lines lol. But [S]paz's idea is pretty good to show proggies.

yeah i agree with [s]paz thats what i did for my autofighter its a pretty good idea and u dont waste 20 lines of code its just one extra one in your main loop

It's not illegal for programs to see what's running. It is, however, illegal for RS to see, because it goes against their ToS.

Jagex can NOT see the disguises. But its cool doing stuff like this:

That way people have an easy way of seeing progress on script.

Its very usefull to post semi-proggys , also like the one JuKKa uses, it tells how many coal and how many mith it has mined , it works real nice , also if you are using S.M.A.R.T if you have the window minimized you can just look at the bar and youll see how is it going not having to wait until its done to see the proggy, It isnt actually a disguise , its a semi proggy to see how is the script behaving :p
