Inserting an image?

I was going to try to make a tut today and i have a few images but I made them. I tried insert Image and put in their location but it didn't work so i was wondering how i do that? I am doing this on these forums.

make an account on photobucket.com/ (http://photobucket.com/)
upload it to your album
and the copy and paste IMG code from under the picture your guide...

for example this picture.... the same as the one in my sig:

shows up by putting this code in text box...

An easier way of uploading photos is using a site that is either ImageShack (www.imageshack.us) or a site similar to it, no account required and for me it takes less than 1 second to upload a photo.

I feel like a door-to-door salesman...
