s-video cable pc help?

ok so i wana hook up my pc to my tv, and i can easily do it with either rgb, to my hd tv or s video to my old tv but what if i want to put my old vcr to my pc monitor...my svideo says out..but is there some sort of virtual tv program to trick it into accepting otherwise? cuz i know theres virtual drives and virtual machine...etc...now wat bout virtual tv? any ideas...wait...how do you hook up a 360 to a pc then....ok wait..then...doesnt system link on xbox go through ethernet? ethernet does video??? im so lost in my own though some 1 can explain all? plz thnx:D

Certain GPUs can do this, you can also get a tuner card, and if you have an old TV with a resolution <720p then the output will be very ugly, not worth it, don't try unless you got a 720p or a 1080p.
