Add this

&fmt=18
or

&fmt=6

at the end of a video url.

For example

http://youtube.com/watch?v=IIzpjyKmK9c
would be.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=IIzpjyKmK9c&fmt=18

Lol this might have been around for ever but i just found out now..

I didn't think all of youtube videos even had a higher quality version.

I think it depends on the person who made the video rather then the player...Because i tried this on a crap version of a video and it barely did a thing.

There is a visable difference with this one.

I think youtube reduces the quality even if you upload a hi-res video that is whithin the size limit. So only shortvideos work with it.

It only works on some videos. There's even a button on those videos for the higher quality version (although it's hard to find).

With - Without

With = With the &fmt=18 thing, without is without it (DUH)

And here's the vid.. http://youtube.com/watch?v=NGKlns62w1A&fmt=18

If you upload a high quality .wmv format video it will have a high quality option.
Makes a huge difference for all my concert vids i upload.
