OK, well I'm reading this tutorial on Win32 programming, and it gives all the steps on what you have to do for borlander C++ compiler and microsoft visual C++ compiler, which is great, but I don't have those, I have Dev C++ :p

The problem I'm facing now is Resources. 2 things it's said about resources I can't find are

"To create the cursor, on the main menu, click Insert -> Resource... In the Insert Resource dialog box, click Cursor and click New"

and

"On the main menu, click Project -> Add Resource..."

So the problem is, I don't even know if Dev C++ supports resources, and making your own (custom) resources (like cursors, icons...etc.). And if they do have resource stuff, I don't know what to click to find it in Dev C++.

Any help is appreciated, and if you want to help with further questions I may have in the future about Dev C++, you can add me on msn :): runescapemacro@hotmail.com

Thanks a lot.

For sure it supports them, look at the picture i attached, I am adding one. Maybe i did not get your question correctly but i have used them in my windows applications to make menus and menu items.. I have never done custom cursors, but i have made programs with custom icons. also there are plenty of examples that come with the program that have custom icons aswell. I hope I answered your question lol and did not miss it altogether. also a word of advice, I have had problems with the debugger on this, thats why it is best to download free command line tools like borland c++(professional and commersial distributation of the programs you make with it) or mingw32(which is the same compiler you get with dev-cpp) and download a graphical GUI like codeblocks. and it works together just like dev-cpp.
