How do you guys appeal banned accounts?

So what's your method for appealing an account banned for macroing. I got my main caught up with a mining script, I knew I should have stopped after the 5th quiz in about 3 hours lol. Anyway, I have .5 blackmarks and it's banned for 10 days, but if there's something I can say to get it back sooner, let me know what that is.

I think there maybe a thread with some appeals or at least funny appeals to try.
Try and search for it.

I have never had any personal luck appealing a ban for macroing. I have even given great medical terminology in my appeals explaining my situation and why I could play RS so much due to a (insert sports disability/injury here) and a bunch of other made up excuses. All turned out to be failures.

Good luck though with whatever you try.

just dont tell them anything and wait for 10 days. I appealed a 10 day ban but then got perm banned. It was wierd

Or appeal from other IP someone stole, it'll be locked for 3 days though.

Truthfully, this appeal has worked like 4 times before, blame it on your bladder...like, to unban my one account, i said i had a bad bladder problem and had to rush to the bathroom, then my lil bro came on and started screwing with it (apologize, itl never happen again)...works, 1. no bladder issue and 2. no lil bro :)

IMO you sometimes get lucky and sometimes not. I've tried suicide, racism, swearing, apologizing (in an appeal), and sincerely saying they made a mistake. Declined every time (some were for macroing and some for trading macroed items).

I mostly just make up a load of s**t about me being ill and i got my friend to play for me lol. or say I have felt remorse about the situation and stuff.

Just wait for ban to be over , if u got perm banned , just jeep quiet after 6 months they will unban you quietly.

Since the bans are far away from permanent nowadays, only 10 days, as Markus said, I suggest just leave it alone, they might jump into conclusions by your app etc, I sent them an appeal when my main first got banned, then it was banned for about two years, then when everyone said they had been removed black marks, I sent them an unlock request telling only that I've heard people have gotten black marks removed, and boom, one day, unlocked.

So, don't send an appeal and do something creative for the 10 days...

they have automated messaging systems so they dont have to worry about typing it up.

That same thing happened to me, it ticked me off so bad because all of my accounts had been banned at the same time and that was the only one that had a 10 day ban. Then i appealed it and Viola' I was Perm Banned...:mad:

Yea i agree with rick, You don't need to say anything, maybe even just apologize. It won't hurt you if you just say sorry and then you can just move on. Also, you will basically get the same punishment for apologizing and telling them you are going to kill yourself.

It also helps if you know WHY you got banned, it wont help if you say oh im sorry i didnt know what it did (macro) when u get in trouble for swearing, then you get another..my one account (perm banned), it says a very SERIOUS offense, and WONT GIVE ME DETAILS!!! so its hard to get an unban that way, just try not to screw it up...easiest way

Remember, we don't make you macro at all in this community, it is YOUR choice to do so. So if you get permanently banned, or just the temporary ban that you've gotten for 10 days, you can't really blame anyone but yourself. Personally I think Jagex is smarter than we all thing, but that's my own opinion...:rolleyes:

like a mnth be4 i got muted, i was in the "runescape" clan chat and saying im emo and stuff lol. so i got 7 offences for breaking rule 1 but the thing is they got the same piece of chat but used it 7 times so that sucked and aswell as getting an offence for rule 9 which is getting other to break the rules. but i jus think its weird that i got muted for 4 days and not banend when i got 3.8 black marks which is rather alot for offensive language and a mute.

only got like 12hrs left on mute.

well i've been unbanned... and I didn't blame anyone so your post really means nothing. i just asked how people appeal their accounts. i didn't know what to say, it's unbanned and over now.
