In my math class there is an extra credit question. it states "there are five rings on the olympic flag. How different ways can they be arranged?"
I wan't a way to solve it, not an answer, so no answers please. Thanks!

its the factorial of 5 commonly written a x! or in your case 5! which means 1*2*3*4*5=your answer...
how i got the answer?... simple... i have 5 different colors...
first ring i can pick 1 of 5 colors
second ring i have 4 colors left to pick from
third i have 3 colors and so on...

Dude, what grade are you in? But yah it's just like this:
There are 5 colours so the first one could be 5,2nd 4,3rd 3,4th 2,+5th 1=5x4x3x2x1=5!=120
