1. Important! Notes

-- Before you go wandering around scripts and what-not, you should read ALMOST every sticky you can find. The more you know the less likely you will mess up and get banned. Plus, reading stickies always answers some of the questions you may have.
-
-- Register a SRL Stats ID and Password. SRL-Stats allow you to personally track your progress, and allows the developers of a script insight of how well their script is doing.
-
-- Know ahead of time what you want your army to do. The worst type of plan is a plan without a plan.
==========

2. Making Accounts
-
-- You should start by thinking of what you want you want your account names to be. You should write these down somewhere or save them in a text file, along with the password(s) you will be using with these accounts. A good number of accounts is 3-5, but you can have as many as you want. When thinking of a name, don't use a random string of letters and numbers. These type of names are extremely hard to remember and look very 'hackerish.' Also, don't use repetitive names like 'Putnam1, Putnam2, Putnam3, etc.' You should make each name unique, and for better antirandoms you could use repetitive keywords such as bobobo742 (obo, bob), FredTredBred (red), etc.
-
==========

3. Tutorial Island
-
-- Tutorial Island is one of the most painful parts of the army creating process. You may want to take shortcuts and use the default clothes and everything, but do not do it. A lot of experienced players see the default clothes and view it as a tell-tale sign you are a botter. Nobody will have respect for you, plus you might get banned.

-- If you can find a working tutorial island runner for Simba or SCAR, then good for you! I'm not aware of any that do exist as of the current, but I'm not all that up-to-date with autoing. You might actually be able to find one on RSBot. If you can't find one, then that's okay. You can take them through Tutorial Island one-by-one. After all, botting takes some time, and you don't want to have a totally unfair advantage over the other players. Don't give up, you're almost there.
-
==========

4. Leveling Combat
-
-- Look around and find a decent script, or go ahead and make one yourself. A script where you have to define the colors that has an anti-ban should suffice. If you find a script that hasn't been updated to the latest SRL, if you don't have much experience with SRL/SCAR/Simba, don't bother with it. Another thing is, if they have something like:
Players[0].integers[3] := 0; // attack
Players[0].integers[4] := 0; // strength
Players[0].integers[5] := 99; // defence

Make it like this
Players[0].integers[3] := 40; // attack
Players[0].integers[4] := 40; // strength
Players[0].integers[5] := 40; // defence

It will level each stat evenly.

--If you aren't making a combat army, at least do some combat training to around 35-40. You never see a level 3 with 99 woodcutting chopping down Magics. Use common-sense. I would also recommend taking periodic breaks for different players and legitly play for a while if at all possible.
==========

5. The fun Part :p :spot:
-
--Now this is the fun part! With all the accounts you've made, you can now auto at your own free will! Like I've said before, use common-sense. When finding a suitable script for what you will be doing with your army, if you find a post/script that hasn't been updated in 2-3 months, don't ask them to update the script. If it hasn't been updated, they are either probably working on it or don't want to update it. This goes for threads, too. If it hasn't been posted in for months, don't add +1 to your post count. That would be called gravedigging and you get infractions here at Villavu.
-- When autoing, don't go to the world with least people. The worlds with the least and most people in worlds are often targets for wanna-be mods who report people. Try to stay in the worlds with the average amount of people. NEVER TELL ANYONE YOU ARE AUTOING. Ever.
On one last note, never run Scar on a signed applet, if you have a choice. If there's a line under const saying signed=True; change that to signed=False;

Decent tut. It would look better if you...Well idk, it just doesn't look too neat if you know what I mean.

I've never understood the part (which people always say) with the 'don't name your characters after a skill' . What about the skillers who have a main, what about the pures? Meh, oh well.

D. NEVER TELL ANYONE YOU ARE AUTOING unless you trust them with your runescapian life.

Hooray I'm famous :)

LOL runescapian I never realised that.

I say dont name after skills, because most legit players only have 1 account. Just 1 way to lessen suspiciosity(spelling? actual word?)

BTW I'll make it neater later... I just woke up from a long nap

Hmm, yeah I guess that would help.

You could also add that for better anti-random detection that you could make names that have double/triple nicknames, such as 'bobobo742' or 'fredtredbred'.

I would say something about naming, for my army (stolen from fakawi I think...on his golden rules thread) I named them alphabetical....
I now have a-m name memorized. and they all have nothing to do with each other :)
great for organization

I voted it was good. Great info and all that, but to pick the first option I have to click on something, and we all know how tiring that can get.

another great tip you should add... is to NEVER ... EVER... run you auto on the signed java applet for runescape... always run your autos on unsigned if one gets banned... they will all get banned...

Is is a very nice tut...

Had no idea about the unsigned applet thingy.

However, i have a question for you:
With the new updates, isn't multi-accounts useless? Since you can't "give" items to your main without giving something to the autoer too.

berimbau

multiple accounts are better than just trading.
you have less risk of getting banned
if you get banned u dont lose everything
its funner
you can spam the highscores on LaTex (lol)

i can't wait to start my army! how do you use an unsigned applet with the new update that directly connects you to the loggin screen?

Putnam

if in ur script theres a signed = True;
then put
Signed = False;

it should be under const on many scripts (not all)
