View Full Version : Issue with Internet Explorer

I've noticed that sometimes when I am using Scar and running Runescape through Internet Explorer, the client will go inactive after a script logs out and cannot be reactivated by either simply clicking on the login screen or by using SRL's ActivateClient function. The result is that the script attempts to enter the username and password for the next login, but the text is not accepted by the rs client and the login fails. The script then clicks cancel and attempts to enter the information again, but the problem persists.

The strange thing is that mouse clicks are accepted by the rs client, but keyboard characters are not. To fix the problem, it is necessary to click on the Internet Explorer window itself, instead of just on the rs client area.

Does anyone know what causes this problem, or how it can be fixed?

mm, yeah, the best way to fix IE is to just get firefox. Because actually fixing IE raises the question.. microsoft works?

Sounds good. I'll start using Firefox instead of IE, and I assume that will solve the problem. Thanks!

Its a runescape update to keep botters out.
It logs off every 30 mins and if you click 500 times on the login screen
you are ip banned.
Something like that.

Hmm... that seems possible, but where did you hear that? I wouldn't think that Jagex would just release information like that to the public.

Are you people actually taking that seriously? I'd assume that's something he just made up right now.
