ok Hermpie...
Anyway, Have you tried turning the computer on without the keyboard plugged on, then turning it off when you login, then plugging it in and turning the computer on again?

Yeah I tried all that basic stuff. The problem was BOTH the USB ports in the back of my computer are apparently dead, and my keyboard works now. (Which is VERY odd because they all worked great yesterday.) Anyone got an idea as to why the two in the back stopped working while the other two in the front do?
Okay, full story time. Last night at about midnight I went to bed with everything in perfect working order. (According to my mother the power went out in our house sometime during the night) I wake up and find my keyboard doesn't work, and tried a few basic things such as unplugging it and plugging it back in with no luck. I restarted computer as I walked out the door for school. I come home and go to control panel keyboard to find it's 100% blank, so it doesn't recognize my keyboard. I was using virtual keyboard for a while then decided to try yet another USB port (Making the 3rd one tried) and it worked.
Does anyone here have any idea of something other than bad luck that could disable 2 out of 4 of my USB ports?

That was annoying....
Control panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> Universal Serial Bus Controllers -> Find the holes you want. Click. Look near the top of the toolbar -> Disable.
Have phun! :)
