need help with corrupt word file...

i had my poem save one my flash drive... and i used a special font that i downloaded off the internet(link below)... some the the document(in the same link...) got messed up and when i try to open it... like 5 pages of squares appear... i have the font installed on this computer

Open it with notepad and you should be able to at least read the text if not copy and paste it in a new document.

Yeah using notepad should work, if not have you tried just changing the font of the text? If not I guess you need to find he computer you made it on and change the font there.

ummmm... on notepad it shows up as a bunch of spaces... doesn't matter anymore now... i found the printed copy and retyped it... this file and a shit load of others went corrupt on my flash drive... good ole' Lexar™... ah well i have i like 8 programs to reinstall... i don't know what happened... but really don't care at this point... thanks for your help anyway... even though it didn't work...

Hi, what options you used to work for the return of the file? Try text recovery for ms word (http://www.recoveryforword.com) maybe this will help you.
