A question about the runescape economy Fagex :f: so graciously decided to control.

When the grand exchange was released and pking was taken away, it came to my attention that prices dropped dramatically.

Recently, It has also come to my attention that prices are going back up slowly but steadily. Also, the prices of raw materials are skyrocketing to the point where, in most cases, only a few gold pieces separate profit and paying for the item.

My questions are:

1. Will the prices even out, keep getting higher and higher, or drop?
2. Will the prices of materials go down?

Thanks for any imput you have

They might be planning to add something so they want the prices like that.

Prices will eventually even out. The problem was that loads of people went to sell their stuff, lowering the price dramatically with few people buying. Then what happened if that people who were skillers could then buy up nearly all of the raw goods at cheap prices. This then meant that people had money and there was nothing to buy, so everything that came into the GE could be sold at a high price due to high demand and little supply. The prices do seem to be settling now and hopefully raw materials will go down while finished goods go up, but there's still the making of bronze bars to make money (nearly doubles in fact).
