Well, I don't know if many people around here have heard of/played this game, but I think it's really fun. I did a search, and nothing at all came up, so it should be pretty new. Well anyway...it's kinda like Civilization, but not really...lol. You start out with a town hall, and you can build buildings and stuff, and then you can build ports, and every other city in the game is a another player. So I guess you might be able to call it a MMORTS?...lol
Anyway, I'm playing on the "Theta" world, you can trade and pillage and stuff, and form alliances.

There is one "downside". It is REALLY slow. Now you might be used to building times of like 10 minutes tops...but this one runs into the HOURS! Yeah, over an hours (sometimes 4+) to build a building. I'm pretty sure this is because you can attack people and it's online. But don't worry, once you get some colonies it actually requires time and attention, and can get pretty fast paced.

So join me on world Theta or go off and take over some other world, but mind you, I'm not very strong :p so don't look at me for support!

Here is the website, pretty self explanatory to sign up....(hint: click on the Play Now for Free!)

hmm, sounds similar to oil empire, where you start with a small oil well on a plot of land in iraq and eventually expand to have larger oil rigs, nuke silos etc.... but its also online and you can fight and steal oil from other players, you play in rounds each one lasting a couple months, and you have to start over each round, which is nice because then not one person gets unbeatably strong, it starts out slow but once you get rolling it gets pretty fun.

It's kinda nice because you don't need a lot of free time, you just need to pop in every few hours (or days...) to check up on things and manage your resources.
