hey all. i just made a new account, a tank ranger. and i need some cash. Im going to train either Woodcutting or Mining my question is.. which one? i wced from 60 to 73 on another account, and got 1.2m. but i've never tried mining. (at least not to a high lvl, only 62) [Funny banana thingie ^^]

If this account is going to be member, then woodcutting is better, I guess. Both skills suck on "single-player", IMO.

thanks, i made my account two days ago ^^ 56 woodcutting atm. i also got like 20 quest points. so, its all good.

I think mining I guess, I don't know how long it took, but from 60 to 74 mining you get over 2.5 mill, and you get about 10k iron from 15 to 60 mining. ABOUT

Woodcutting - Until you get to like lvl 70 this skill is absolutely useless! Willows are 18 each is nothing. But then at 70 you can cut yews (at a reasonable speed at least) and then you will get TONS of gold, Then with the gold you can buy member PINs and cut mages for even better money!

Mining - Even at lvl 1 you can mine copper for 50 each, Thats pretty good money for a newly created account :D Then at lvl 30 you can mine iron for the real cash. Then at 60 you can guild mine for the fastest money on this earth :)

So, if you are going to make an account and then stop playing after 1 month i would go mining. But if your going to use it for a long time go woodcutting.

PS : Newt buying is 10x faster than anything i just said.

i say woodcutting because what u said: from lvl60 to 73 is 1.2m!
1.2m is enough to make a good range tanker...
and more about mining: good mining spots are usually very busy but woodcutting places are not very busy because there are more places to cut some logs.
So my advice: Woodcutting
And if u are member u can use dragon axe!:cool:

flax picking is waayyyyyy slow dude! If your gonna go with anything, I would have to say mining because I think wc is way to slow and tedious.

just a note to everyone. i just remembered that i wced yews from 65 to 73 and got 1.2m, not from 60-73.
