Can some one explain to me how to measure the diameter of the sun?

thanks.

The Sun is 150,000,000 km away from earth.

I have to describe a viable method to indirectly measure the diameter of the sun. Then must implement mystrategy to calculate and measure the diameter of the sun in Km within +/-10% margin of error.

Needed information: The earth is approximately 150,000,000 km from the sun. This distance varies somewhat with the seasons because of Earth's elliptical orbit, but this will be considered negligible for our purposes.
