**I made bronze bars for this because I was just testing it**

Ok first off, you need to have about 100k
1. Buy 1k copper ore and 1k tin ore (remember to buy for lowest price!!!)

depending on what ore you used, you will get a variaton of exp/profit


THIS TABLE IS PER 1000 BARS

*1*Bronze Bars - 6200 exp - 102000 profit
*15/50% chance*Iron Bars - 12500 exp - 148000 profit
*20*Silver Bars - 13700 exp - 23000 profit
*30*Steel Bars - 17500 exp - 201000 profit
*40*Gold Bars - 22500 exp (56200 w/golden gauntlets) - (-245000) profit

Not as good as buying lowest/selling highest, but it's faster and still decent

Hmm pretty simple, good way to make money , but its just a little slow and boring, Im the kind of guy who preferrs the fast exp way, dont mind if good money :p

well, i guess you could do this with any kind of ore...

i found this because my friend told me that he was a member and would make me 15k arrows to train, but i didn't want to mine 1k of both ore for arrow tips.....

just check to see if the lowest price for all the ore is less than the lowest price to buy that kind of bar

I used to smelt steel bars for money and exp manually. ^.^ Good TuT.

I've been doing these with steel bars but I'm mining for iron ores and just buying coals. (= more profit)

Steel has always been the way for me using this very same method. Though this is quite nice for low level smithers or those with little money to spend on things like coal and iron.

Nice guide, perhaps I will look into this with my army and start mass producing bronze bars! :cool:

Bronze is actually the only good one. With the rest it can take a long time to get ores and with copper and tin you can buy at high price and still make a profit most of the times as well as selling at the lowest price. Best thing of all about buying at highest price and selling at lowest is that you remove the higher priced goods so over time the price should drop and by removing all the low buy prices it leaves higher prices so it should rise over time. Also, just want to say I've said this a few times over the last 2 months or so and just wish I could remember where I first said it XD

lol you don't even need much money to start off...

just mine some tin/copper and smelt them
sell them until you get enough money to start buying them off G.E. and then you will be set :)

lol, thats a bit cheap:p i pay 187 for coal lol... and i pay near the highest price for iron... i still make about 200gp/bar i sell (i know its not 200, but its close to 200 lol:p) Ive turned 1.8m into 2.7 mil in a day (i know its not a lot, but still i havent played in years and im getting into the swing of things:p, also im not using an army...)

Thanks for this tut its working good, im using munks shmelta with my own added SMART so i can carry on with other stuff...:D i check on it every once in a while, and i have a few problems every now and then, my longest proggies is about 3 hours...

ATTENTION!

i just now received a permenant ban while doing this.... my apology was successful, but i needed to make a final appeal for my account and i accidently hit enter too many times and all it sent was "dear j@gex"

please use caution doing this, don't do it too much keep it at around 1000 bars a day and keep it playing on normal hours....

if you are going to leave it overnight, start the script at a time where it can END at a reasonable time (not 7:00 AM) go for around 2:00 -3:00 AM
