Slow Computer, please help - maybe trojan?

My computer has been rly slow this last week, I think I might have a trojan or something like that, can someone recommend a program to quickly delete these viruses that slow ur pc down? damn AVG 8 scan takes 3 hours :fiery:

probably reformating your hard drive btw your scan takes 3 hrs lol mine takes 20-25 mins

What have I missed? is reformating ur computer ''in'' now or what? no Im not gona format just cuz of some lagg -.- I need some trojan/virus finders

I reccoment adaware SE it clears trojans and junk you dont need. its good. I use it :) also format if it gets worse. sometimes a computer needs a good clean.

Might be many things which slow comp down, virus, to much stuff on hard drive etc..

yer i use common sense but i download stuff that will 90% be a virus eg keygens for software

so your best bet is to downoad and run one of them good/expensive ones that are free to scan but you have to buy to remove viruses

and remove them manually i suggest you search google for enigma software spyhunter that works quite well

or if you want to purchase scanner the shield deluxe 2008 works ok and its only £10 for 2 years or a free scanner avast

Norton
Kasperky,
Also, there is a very big chance that your hardrive is just filled, try using some hardrive cleanup utilities, these are easy to find on the internet.
