well i just updated to 18 and i got a anti virus saying that the freddy plugin is a trojan, not that bothered about that.

the problem is that when i type a function then a bracket it closes scar.

instead of the usual box below telling me what the parameters are.

any ideas?

Try reinstalling SCAR. Maybe one of the files is corrupt.

woohoo, thats that worked, wonder what it was.

the only new thing thats never happened was that trojan in freddy plugin which never appeared before.

i am using avast

edit: actually it aint working, it to do with my anti virus thinking freddy pluging is a trojan

Go into your Avast settings and tell it the plugin/SCAR is safe.

Gah. Got that same error. I can't type any functions, cannot compile; Etc. Using Avast too, but I cannot just temporarily disable antiviruses because of a nasty attack half a year ago. Gah.

Incidentally. Here's the virus.

14/7/2008 16:34:09 SYSTEM 784 Sign of "Win32:Downloader-BAG [Trj]" has been found in "C:\Documents and Settings\Lee Lok Hin\桌面\SCAR 3.15\plugins\FreddyPlugin.dll" file.

I .bak ed freddyplugin.dll, and it compiles, but something seems to be wrong. The errors.

It's basically that BAD virusscanners don't like the UPX used on freddyplugin.

use the dll from wizzup's rar. it has an older file date and avast doesn't detect it as a virus. the dll from the svn update has a different timestamp.

yeah, i also can't imagine turning off the antivirus.
