Havent autoed in a while

Hi everyone
I havent been on in a while and i just started playing rs again and i got 10k yew longbows to string (and 8k flax to spin). I used to just auto, but i dunno how risky it is anymore. its on my lvl 100 main and it wouldnt be the end of the world if i got banned but i would rather not... so is it worth it to auto? what are the chances of being banned if i log out every 8 minutes or so and auto for maybe a few hours at a time? it would save me a lot of time that i could spend doing funner stuff (such as barrows). Otherwise id probably give up around 2k bows and just sell the rest of the supplies. any thoughts?

Seconded. Auto for around 2-3 hours, then spend 30-40 minutes questing or doing something human like. Rinse and repeat. ^-^

Also- try autoing on PC isle (on w144). No one will notice you, and you will get no randoms. PC isle never gives randoms (never meaning in 8 hours of constant alching there, I got 0 randoms). :P

yes it is 100% true in "pest control" bank there is no randoms att all i autoed 37hrs with footballtjd scripts with not 1 random and also it dont matter which world it is jus world 144 is the main world for pest control meaning all people jus focusing on the game

Exactly. If you choose another world, someone is bound to come in and try to make small talk with you. If you don't respond, then they will probably report you. In world 144, there are loads of people in the bank. There's almost no chance that anyone will see you. If they do, they will be too focused on spending their points or going to the lander ASAP to even care. :P

Hey guys... what is the optimum time i should run a script a day? i was talking to Waddo, and he said 6 hours is fine... You think i can run it longer if I "rinse and repeat"?

By the way, where is the pest control bank? Also, is it the only place that doesn't have random (that is, inside the bank only?)??

The whole island has no randoms, if I recall correctly. Pest Control is that place where you go on the landers and kill portals/shifters/ravagers/etc. while trying to keep the Void Knight alive.

It's members and you can get to the island by talking to the Squire in Port Sarim. He is one dock north of the charter ship, just a tiny bit west of the ship you rent in Dragon Slayer.

As everyone suggested, auto safely and you will be safe :D 2-3 hours a day if it's your main is what I would recommend. Take a day off every now and again and also do not forget to do "human things" as well, and then I am sure you will be safe!

Just because there are no randoms doesn't mean that auto-ish behavior won't go unnoticed. You can lengthen the time a bit, but try not to go overboard. ;)
