Could not move plugins error

yes i kno, i have done the search etc and read all the threads about his error, but i cant find a fix, things i did:

Uninstall all Scar Files
Reinstall scar files
Tried both snv 1.4.5 and 1.4.6
restarted my pc
turned off firewall
added scar into firewall exceptions
turned on Firewall Setting in Scar 2 always allow

I dont kno what else to do, mabye a different version of scar, but i dont kno if it will work??? also i get this News Failed error all the time if any1 know how 2 fix that aswell thx any1 who can attempt 2 help me

Are you running windows XP?

If vista, right click and run as admin. it always works!

yes i am using xp and i also have admin rights on the pc

For the news failed, you might have to set specific rules allowing inbound packets from the server even if you already have "allowed" scar to use the internet. For the plugins problem, maybe it could be that either the checkout did not download the files properly or your antivirus might have deleted something because it thinks its a virus (happened to me) Try redownloading it if it isnt antivirus or if it is, add the file to exclusions list

ok so i have tried disabling my firewall and anit-virus together and still nothing, also the problem occurs with the fact that the files aren't even downloading in the first place to be moved

also today i tried deleting scar from the Regedit and reinstalled and tried, nothing happened

Is there anyways 2 manually download/install SRL? any1 have the files uploaded some where?? nvm found it can mod close the thread?
