Hello, I have followed 3 tutorials on getting SCAR and SRL working, I still get anoying errors like
Line 1: [Error] (111:10): Duplicate identifier 'ISKEYDOWN' in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\includes\SRL\SRL\Misc\Smart.scar

or

Line 233: [Error] (1386:32): Invalid number of parameters in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\includes\SRL/SRL/Core/GameTab.scar

Not one script worked yet and it is very annyoing because I am really it want to work.

I have SCAR 3.15, I did update SRL -- Subversion repository to checkout...Blah blah blah

I have Windows Vista and I run SCAR as an admninistrator.
I tried to unistall SCAR and restart the instalation, but when I uninstaled SCAR, it said there where files left that could be ersased manualy.
There's the part that pissed me off the most, is that when I tried to delete these files it said I don't have permission to delete these files... It asked me just before that it needs my permission to do this task and I said yes.

I would gladly accept help, go ahead flame me or whatever, I just want to be able to run scripts!

So from what I have read, most of the free scipts don't work...
So I guess it's not a problem with my computer it's just that the scripts that don't work. I guess I'll have to wait to become a junior member :D

Have you tried redownloading (doing another checkout) SRL? The errors are occurring within SRL, so I don't think it's the scripts' fault. I haven't been getting errors so it might have glitched or something when you were downloading SRL.

If redownloading SRL does not work and it were me in this situation, I would save all of my scripts to a folder on my desktop, uninstall SCAR, delete any remaining SCAR folders within the Program Files directory, and do a fresh install of the latest SCAR.

Also you can try doing a brief look-through of the script to make sure those errors were not actually part of the script, like a typo, etc.

I reinstalled SCAR and SRL using one of the tutorials on the forums. I still get errors from scripts:
Line 1: [Error] (111:10): Duplicate identifier 'ISKEYDOWN' in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\includes\SRL\SRL\Misc\Smart.scar
Failed when compiling

I used the RM powercutter SMART 2.00 and 3.60 and RM powercutter 2.00 and 3.60

I still get errors.... please help

i think its because of Rev 19. the scripts arent setup to work with it.

Yeah, it seems to me that most of the scripts are outdated (i.e. won't work with latest subversion). Some still do, though. I've had great experiences with waddo's autominer and Narcle's autofighter. If either of those interest you, you should give them a try.

At mint: Your problem is a complete different one... Yours is an error in the script (Identifier expectet means you forgor a "begin" or a "repeat" somewhere, or that you have an "end" or an "until" too many).

At Fear: Could it be that in the script, {.include srl/srl.scar} and {.include srl/srl/misc/smart.scar} need to be switched? As far as I know, the include smart one needs to be above the include srl one... or the other way around, not sure, try witching them...

Edit: at Fear: Your script is NOT outdated (or at least those errors aren't due to the script), the errors you have recieved are due to the SRL library, and something must have gone wrong in the download. Also, did you press the "move plugins" button after the "checkout"?

good luck,

This states that there are two identifiers named the same thing. It seems SCAR doesn't want to over-write the functions/procedure inside of SMART.scar, therefore listing them as duplicate (two copies). To avoid this error, read some of the SMART (adding SMART) tutorials backwards and run the script like normal ;)

Re download SRL and scar if that doesn't work could be old scripts i find it difficult finding working ones so im waiting to get junior membership.
