when i run any script i lagggg

hello as u can see the name of the topic
whenever i run any script SMART or normal one...runescape laggs like crazy ... and as soon as i stop running the script it comes back normal it doesnt lagg anymore...idk why :S

i've tried to change the piroity but still no use

My computer ram is 512mb

i have no diffuclties
only when i run any script it lagggss
please help me :D

Put SMART on high (the bar on the right side of the SMART-screen), and set the priority to Highest. Also try do disable as much processes as possible. Hope this helps. :)

i did all these things it worked...for only non SMART version but for the SMART version still same :(

This makes SMART the most important thing that your processor does. This should reduce the lag drastically if not get rid of all of it.

Its quite elementary but try defragging if you havnt ran one for a while, also if your drive is near full delete some stuff

there could be a virus or something using up your processer

Get better RAM. :) Your computer needs more RAM to make it run Scar, I'm guessing. I have no problems with a 1GB stick in my laptop.

i have no problems on my laptop i even run smart on it and play other games and it still runs fine
it has a 2 Ghz dual core 64 bit procesor and 3 GB of ram :D

There are a few things you could do to speed up your PC:

1) Buy more RAM
2) Start>Run>msconfig>Startup uncheck everything you don't need
3) Virus scan
4) Malware/Spyware scan
5) Make sure you have the latest versions of SCAR, SRL Rev, and Java
6) Run only your browser and SCAR when you are autoing

Update Java
Set SCAR and SMART to high priority
Disable graphics on smart
Make sure no other programs are running

If your still lagging, GET MORE RAM :)

I encountered this problem but i changed SCAR to the highest priority and id didnt lag on regular runescape or smart :D so that helped me

u fnoobs its simple...all he has to do is change the resolution on his monitor or lower his the 32bit to 16bit. He probably has a shitty graphics card and its pwning his hard drive when it trys to run it..atleast thats what worked for me on my cousins shitty comp.

well we can see from your post thats your, to put it bluntly stupid.

yes that might clean up some RAM because the decrease in performace but just no

its got nothing to do with graphics cards, its that he needs more RAM, because the functions used in the scripts he is trying to run cant complete there calculations and other tasks so they cause java to lag due to the lack of RAM memory being avalible.

512 mb ram should be able to handle SCAR though. He MUST have something else running.

Have you tried shutting down random programs not needed?

Go here:

Start-Run-msconfig-Startup

Now google EVERY process that runs on your computer's startup and read up on them. If any one of them is some kind of common virus, uncheck it and hit "apply". This will stop it from running at startup, and will stop it from sucking any kind of CPU speed away from what you are trying to do.

Once you are done, restart your computer. Did it boot faster? It should. Try SCAR again! :)
