I'm sure we have a few drummers here in the forum somewhere.

I am a drummer myself!

I do all kinds of music, and (used to, graduated) participate in my school's INDOOR DRUMLINE!

What is an indoor drumline, you might ask?

It's basically supposed to be like a musical, with a super emphasis on the music. Our show below was "the four seasons".

Yes, I know we look like clowns (wasn't the student's choice).

Yes, I'm the one who dropped the drums :p

In my defence, I almost had my drum back on the harness, but the snare drum tapped me and hit it back out, so I tried to rush it back in the harness, which, as you can see in the video, failed, and for the remainder of the show, my thumb bled profusely on the tiny drum in the middle of my Tenor set.

Oh well, in the judge's tapes, they gave us bonus points for my quick recovery and my seemingly amazing tolerance for pain (aka the bleeding, which wasn't that bad).

This was also early in our season, in the end, we cleaned up all our little mistakes most normal people couldn't see in the video above and achieved a final grade of 85.4 out of 100 (which is good!).
