I was bored (getting fleching 99) so I made an ugly image in paint:

turned out pritty nice imo, but I still was bored. So I tried photo shop to bring some more life into it:

so,

Photoshop = magic!

Edit: rate? hate?

Looks a lot better then the first one. You should try to add a shine to the blade.

I allready tried that, but when I did the color wan't that far of the white background colour, so the sword became kinda invisible :(

I spitted the image up in layers, and added "texture" to them, with this result :)

Theres a few default "Star" brushes.. just make a new layer put a few of them down, guassian blur it, outer glow it.

Oh Narcle, you and your fail pictures.

Why don't you just redo it with your old paint image, and try changin the colors a bit with the sword? Darken the grey!
