i can get any script to work...

everytime i try to run any script it says error line whatever and you look at the line and it doesn't say that wat was wrong is even there. this has happened for a very long time for me im probably just doing something retarded but ide rather be called a retard and learn than not scripting. please help or teach me hat the hell im doing wrong, flaming welcome i guess.:mad: :duh:

..okay well since i know nothing about your machine il just list evrything:
do you have:
latest scar
svn
latest srl rev
and scripts compatible to that rev or higher

anytime a script doesnt work it is usually user error so let me know some more info...starting with all that

my comp is a inspiron 1501 with vista home basic and yes i have latest srl and scar idk wat svn is. but its always done this i think someone just needs to tell me how to set up my scar maybe.

Er, how long have you been here? If you don't leach, then you'd know the answer to your question.

i dont leach, cause its impossible to when i cant get a script to work... but i would help out the community but the only way i can is to post progress reports and wat not im too dumb to script myself.

make sure you download scar from here (http://freddy1990.com/scar.php)
svn from here (http://subversion.tigris.org/files/documents/15/41687/svn-1.4.6-setup.exe)
download srl through scar. here is a guide on how to do that : http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25985?t=28384&highlight=scar+3.15
and then last but not least make sure you have a compatible, working script. you can get one from the srl junior members section : http://www.srl-forums.com/forum/srl-junior-member-f109.html

well i thought i heard some posts complaining about vista but that shouldn't be a problem, the above post has links to everything you need, all that is left is a compatible script and your time to fill out the form for your auto-er. assuming the script uses a form

yea if u dont have svn u dont have the latest srl

it says cant move plugins from srl folder to plugins folder... im so close

ok well another thing you can try is run scar as administrator

and if that doesnt work then you can download srl from here (http://freddy1990.com/snapshots/srl/) then extract it into your srl folder C:/Program Files/SCAR 3.15/Includes/SRL
