I'm really having trouble working any scripts with Scar, i have tried many different solutions to no avail. Can somebody help me out, i think it might be something to do with my PC. Maybe remote assist and have a look?

Do you got latest versions of SCAR and SRL? And Make sure that the script is for the same version of the SRL you got.

And try maybe other scripts if you havent tried.

sometimes its just a random error dependingg on the script but most of the time its
'This application has failed to start because MSVCR72.dll was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix the problem.'

'JVM.dll could not be found, try re'installing java.'

That means you don't have java installed and your trying to use a smart script

ofc i hav java installed - got newest version, reinstalled etc and im not only using smart scripts + how does it make a difference?

.dll=dynamin link lybrary

When you run an exe it looks for the dll.


You don't have it installed correctly.

there are 3 different scars available for download. Uninstall/ reinstall should fix it.

The same thing happens to me. I just literally downloaded Scar and stuff. I copy the script into SCAR,drag the cursor over runescape,click run script and nothing happens.

Ahh yes, I also suffer different errors that turn out for scar not to correctly run the script.

What you need to do is find a script that is compatible with your SRL Version and you Scar (Ex: Latest Scar - 3.15b SRL Version 4 Revision #5) just an example.

Also, if your script is old then it might not work with any of the new SCAR programs because there was a "COMPLETE" re-writing of the program, check www.freddy1990.com i think it was for the SCAR Versions.
