SRL membership through other means

Is it possible to become a member by displaying other skills? Such as graphic or art skills that might benifit the site?

I used to code about 2 years ago but you guys have over taken me so there is no point.

the point of this site is SRL, so unless you're helping the site, or showing your scripting abilities using SRL then you wont be memberized. No offense, but i dont think that the site has much need of graphic/art skills

id like to be a member but my coding skills suck worse than my gran sucking eggs, Trying to learn,but by the time I get to a standard, srl will be longgone lol, but im trying lol

Na, SRL won't be gone. It's pretty easy to learn scripting. It's a simple language anyway.

Start learning reflection, it's simple and it is the future of SRL.

I'm pretty sure that if you have reflection in your script it isn't usually accepted, as reflection is easier to script, my advice to you would be to learn how to script using scar and srl functions, and then later move onto reflection once you have the basics down firm

Other people have got in other ways other than scripting.
someone called code got in with graphics for srl
drunkoma got in for the scar tags
someone else was for php...

if you do something good for the forum, they will memberize you.

lol reflection is not the future of srl, It's a new "extra" to our colour scripting ;)

But I don't think you can get srl member when your just good with graphix 0.o

Someone got in for writing tutorials and being a good all around member. I forget who that was :(

Dunceiam. He was my hero. He never wrote tuts though. But he was the coolest kid around. Every single post of his was helpful.. Blah Blah. I will see if I can dig up the real reasons.

All I can recommend id trying to learn to script in a positive way, and also see what you can do to help everyone out. With your scritping knowledge, you might be able to help a lot of people out, and before you know it, maybe even become an SRL member without even applying!
