i'm a "Limited Account" (Windows XP) - Subversion doesn't work - HELP!

Okay so basically my parents reformatted the computer, putting me as a Limited Account User, where they are Admin.

They let me download SCAR and Subversion,

but when i go back onto my own account, i find that the subversion option for SCAR does NOT work!?

I looked on their account, which is admin, and it has the subversion option.
For some reason, because i'm not admin, the subversion option is gone!?

I've given you lots of pictures, so you understand what i'm talkign about.

Could somebody PLEASE help me!

restart pc press 8 or 10 till safe mode comes up

then go on to admin account make your acount an admin

Then try agin if i works restart turn admin off!

Yeah that would work if i change my account back to Limited when i'm done.
Cause they check to see if i'm Admin/Limited, cause they know i'm smart =P.

Safemode with networking and go install SVN. After that you should be able to use it.

Okay well i'm using Safemode with networking right now,
I'm in Administrator, but the only accounts i can change are my parent's account, and if i take away the password i can't put it back on cause i don't know it.
I CAN put up the guest account, since all the users are passworded.

So i guess i'll be autoing at night via the guest account.
Hopefully Subversion works with guest account, i shall attempt uninstalling it, then reinstalling it in safe mode.

Edit: doesn't work on guest account. Since i'm administrator in safemode, I wonder if it's possible to auto in safemode? I've never heard of anybody trying this, but i'm pretty sure it would work =P. (i'm not a computer genious)

Well, if you really want to be sneaky, you could use ophcrack, or John the Ripper. ophcrack is big, but can crack pretty fast while john the ripper is small but fairly slow.

These two programs will be able to tell you what the windows xp admin password is. Look up a tutorial on either of them.

Just ask them to make your account administrator.

Well last time they made me an admin, i made them limited =).
Then my mom got mad =P.
Yeah i want something where i can get into their account, change my account to admin, then when i'm done change it all back.
I'll do this when they go to work, before school. That's usually when i start my autoing.

Boberman i'll look them up sometime this evening.

Yeah this thread is more like "How to crack admin password" now lol.
So if anybody has any other ideas =) i'd be glad to hear them.

Edit: If anybody knows of a guide that is step by step using any cracking program for getting a username password, please give me link.

oo00oo, make sure no one is logged in and do Ctrl + Alt + Del on the windows login screen 2 times.

Then type in Administrator for user, and password blank. 95% of the time it will get you onto the official admin account :D

as far as i know, you no longer need svn because of freddy's auto srl updater thingy. So if you cannot get it, then i dont think you have to get it.

@ HY, You fail at spelling my name.
But besides that, i have the pass to the Administrator account in safemode.
Only problem is i tried autoing in safemode, but Runescape doesn't load, i'm not too sure why.

So what i need is a cracker which can tell me the administrator (non safemode)'s password, go in, change my accounts password, change it to administrator, auto, then when i'm finished change it all back again so they suspect nothing :).

Download and burn OphCrack to a cd.
Boot to this to discover admin password.

In your limited account right click on SCAR icon and select "run as" then just use the administrator account.

:) Lol okay thanks Bam Bam, i'll save that to a notebook file and if i ever need it, i'll try that program.

Basically what i'm doing is i took over the administrator account in safemode. Every time my parents go leave for work, i just create a new account, make it administrator, update SRL and then run my script. When i get home from school and before they come home from work i go back onto the admin account, delete the account i created and it's all good.

But I appreciate all your help :).

You could've always tried logging on as the SYSTEM user ;P

Higher privileges than Admin. :D
