LETs Get Started.
if you have firefox skip step 1.
1. get firefox. any version
2.get a greasy monkey. Greasemonkey.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748
3. install my script.
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/25051
just click the big black install button.
goto runescape.com and play a hi res game.
Notes:
you will see a full browser game not full screen. to go full screen press F11.
youll notice you now have the navigation bar keeping you from going really full screen. go back to windowed mode (F11) and right click an empty space on the Navigation Bar. this will make you loose it. press F11 and youll get true full screen.
to get out of full screen youll need to do some tricks. press the windows key (or equivalent) then select the firefox window from the task bar and press F11.

Much easier is to get Firefox 3.0.1 and then simply hitting F11 to make 100% fullscreen [except for a 5 pixel high bar, not too big] and F11 to close it.
Nice job though, heh :D

your forgetting about the ads you get in F2P.
not to mention the RS Nav Bar.

Ads == Adblock Plus.
Nav Bar doesn't bother me much, and if it does, take out FireBug addon/Greasemonkey.

thats basicly what this script tut does, taking out greasemonkey. plus would you really want to use firebug every time you wanted to delete the add and nav bar?
also the new rs advertisement wont be collapsed completely with adblock, as the borders that say "Advert" stay the same.

we aren't debating if firebug is better than greasemonkey. its like asking if mac is better than firefox, their just not the same thing.
instead of opening firebug and deleting the tags isnt it just easyer to install a script that removes it for you every time you play rs?

i love firebug and the dom inspector. both are great tools for making greasemonkey scripts.

This can easily be done in IE7 too, I made a tutorial about it at:

There was an update with the Runescape client and now it wont work anymore because high quality is just like low quality just higher quality...(Thats confusing... I mean the client is restricted to a certain size...)
I'll play around with this and see if I find anything...
