Spore was released today and i hurried and got it, i will give it a review as soon as i start playing, it is installing atm.

Here is the review finally after i (semi) beat it not 100% completion but the story is over...
Cell Phase:
You start out with a cutscene as an asteroid whisses by a planet and crashes into a planet, then you design your creature with very few options, this phase is short, not boring but not especially fun, you go around in a puddle killing other things (if carnivore) or eating algae (if herbavore) and go higher and higher until finally you reach land.
Phase Rating:7/10
Creature Phase:
So now you are on land, it starts out in an editor where you get your legs, followed by a cutscene of your species walking onto land. It is quite fun and is when you develop what exactly you want your species to look like, the final evolution in this phase is what your species looks like the rest of the game. You go around a continent, battling, socialising, or something else, with other creatures. The second longest phase and maybe my favorite im not sure.
Phase Rating:9/10
Tribal Phase:
You start out with a cutscene with your creature picking up a stick and swinging it and hitting the ground (at least thats what mine did). This Phase consists of conquering or befriending 5(?) other tribes. Not really that fun, pretty repetitious, they could have done a lot more with it, there is a neat idea for an editor that they have in this though, which is you decide what they wear which is cool but in my opinion kinda useless.

Civilisation Phase:
After the tribal phase you have a cutscene with members of your tribe discussing different things (expressed through thought bubbles) which is pretty humerous. Once again they could have done a lot more here, for example, in this phase i took over 3 cities and joined with two people and the phase was over, i did it in less than 30 minutes. That was barely trying as well. Money is too easy to get, there is no building time for vehicles, not enough cities to take over.

Space Phase:
For me this was what i got the game for, i wanted the feeling of "I am a galactic god and can do whatever i please". In some ways spore accomplished that, in others, it annoyed the living hell out of me. The universe is HUGE literally 100,000 STARS at least 2x that number, so that encompasses endless game time. It gets very sickening though, you try to terraform(which is fun) for 10 minutes and develop planets and get attacked by some pirate or faction that is mad at you, sure get attacked but literally the max time i have ever not had an even was 15 minutes. You also HAVE to go, if you want to keep your planet, even with the "uber cannon" which is like an orbital defense kinda thing, you need to go back. It was quite fun though and i enjoyed it thoroughly, one thing that is kinda dissapointing though, the bomb with which you can destroy planets only has one shot and you have to buy another.

Makes you feel like you are in control of everything
(many more i just am too tired to think of atm)
Spore Cons:
Gameplay itself is dumbed down too much
Space phase you get attacked way too often
Tribal/Civ phase Not long enough, could be a lot more there
Space Phase there are not large fleets which would be amazing if they did that
That is my basic overview of the game it is 1:24 AM i am too tired to write much more in depth will finish later
