Every time I try to download anything from a site whether it be megaupload, thepiratebay, or demonoid, It will always say that the connection was interrupted and could not load the page.
Is this some shitty vista feature? Because all of my other sites work fine like google, wikipedia, facebook, SRL, ect.
Anyway to fix this?? Getting kinda annoyed...
EDIT: and now it seems like it isnt letting me connect to limewire... how gay is that?

Vista did something similar to that. Just go back to windows xp and download Windowblinds if you like Vista's visuals.

I still think there has to be a way around it though... cuz I had no problem using limewire and downloading things before.
I actually think it may be my school's network that is messing this up... I didnt have this problem until they installed THEIR antivirus and THEIR cisco clean access agent.
Gah. Has anyone else had this issue?

Check your torrents and folders then try using a different web browser such as Firefox or Avant browser From this website (http://www.download.com)
try changing the internet browsers options
It could be your firewall or router if your using one. I have Vista and have no problems with it.

Thanks for all your feedback guys. I really appreciate it. :) I attempted to do a lot of those things, but unfortunately no luck.
I have decided that it is the fact that I am hooked up to the university's network and they are controlling that sort of thing. While they were setting it up for me they told me they had to get rid of limewire, so I assume that whatever they have in their system will prevent me from illegal file sharing.
Fucking bullshit imo. What if I wanted to transfer things that were not copyright protected? Anything torrent related or file sharing related is now cut off. I am now very upset.

Yeah it's obviously your ISP. Why would vista limit you like that, ofc it won't.
As others have said, vista has nothing to do with the internet. Protip: Also downloading things that are illegal to do so on a Uni system is NOT smart
