I really need help with my comp

My computer has contracted a virus which makes it slow and MANY pop-ups come up which will not go away no AV i have tried has worked i cannot system restore i do not have the windows disk also my comp is a windows vista is there a way to delete EVERYTHING aside from the things it needs to run for free? ( norton wanted $100 and geek squad $200 wtf -__- ) i would GREATLY appreciate it ( I'm glad i have another comp lol.. ) Anyways any help for this problem and i would be EXTREMELY greatful

you could try a program called spyware doctor...it hasnt failed me in the past...it finds almost anything

I'll try it out... my other comp can't get much worse...... also are there any maybe commands to wipe everything but the essential?

I use Norton because and the price is only $60 dollars for 1 year of protecting and they will take over your computer through the internet and you get to watch him erase viruses and give you some back up files. Also it protects you from other attacks to your computer and you can scan your computer It will also do its own quick scan. Norton also will update your computer everyday (unless you change it).

everytime i run my comp i have to push control alt delete and delete 2 processes that give me spam for some reason so i dont get random popups lol..im sure i could fix but im too lazy. im sure u have a similar problem

you know...if you use more than one firewall you are defeating the purpose kinda...cuz sometimes firewalls block other firewalls thinking they are bad...

owned. norton antivirus is just fine for me :) as long as u scan regulary especially if u go to pron websites

if you havent already spent money on gettint an antivirus, try avg free (google it)

well u can remove all the stuff from ur pc theres a disk which scans ur pc and gets rid of all the virues and it gives u a choice to delete all ur documents and then it restarts ur comp to how u bought it

-Spybot Search and Destroy < Freeware ?
-NOD32 < Get the trial use that
-Ccleaner or Crap Cleaner < freeware ?
-Spyware blaster <? freeware ?

do you have an external HDD? or some blank DVD's? and the original recovery disks from when you bought the computer?

If so, just back up all your important files, and then re-install the os... THAT is the best virus remover.
