if i was you i wouldn't buy a bulded-up computer , cuz must of time they get serious problem in the future. You should buy from 1 compagny , like aliencore. They build up fastest and the most powerful computer of the world. I got a aliencore and i can tell u its a great mark ! My computer broke like 1 times , and in teh same day , someone helped me out with my computer and they changed my screen in like 2 sec. ( ya , my screen is still new , and aliencore want to test these news windows more , so they offer me a 10 years full repair on my screen , cuz mine is a ovale screen , the one who is over you. I think my resolution is like 2124 x 1864 xD. The future own lol.

But the composent on what you want to buy are a quite old , such as the graphic card. There is a 9800 nvidia on the market , but still high in price. Anyway , i just shut up , its your computer and maybe i'm sure you doN,t want i complain on it xD. All things except the graphic card are very nice and ok. But i think if u want to buy it yourself and updrage it yourself you should have better price , but i'm not a expert in that so i let others people respond to that cuz i don't want you in trouble ^^.

no...building your own computer will be much cheaper and run better than a pre built computer. unless ur retarded and work at wendys or something dumb then maybe you'll screw up. i hope you can play css ejjman :D :D

I wouldn't build it yourself. You might end up changing the voltage or wiring it backwards...

I suggest and HP. It never failes me. Mine has Duo Centrino Chip and an NVidia 8800 [?] graphic chip and its worked like a hourse for me. It's still pulling!

Yeah.... you got really old chip set... and your power supply can't even run the graphics card by itself...

8800GT is recommended to have 400W minimum... I had a 500W with with AMD Phenom 9550 and it burnt out. I recommend atleast 550 or 600.

Building your own comp is the best way to go. I've had my custom built comp for far over a year and nothing has failed me. They are VERY easy to assemble, you can't do it wrong...(unless you bend a pin on the processor...so don't do that). And there is no way to wire it backwards...that's silly.

I have built 6 computers total, the first one was with no prior knowledge on how to do it. You can get the parts much cheaper, you will know what each part is and where it goes, and how to better trouble shoot it if there is problems, which I doubt there will be. And upgrading later on is a BREEZE!

Btw, I would go with 4GB of ram...its so cheap now a days. :)

edit: if you need any help at all pm me or something, or add me to msn, it's listed on srl :p

Don't worry about that! Everything has a slot to go in, and it won't go in the wrong way. The only problem I have run into while building the 6 comps was the main power connector on the mobo, there is 20 pin and 24 pin...that I know of...many PSU's can use either, but some can't, so double check your PSU works with the mobo. However you can just buy adapters for it anyway...but they're like $10 at radio shack.

Again, don't worry about the putting it together part, seriously...it's not hard, if you wanna come down to Butte you can come to my dorm and I'll my comp apart and let YOU put it back together so you know how to it first. Piece of cake.

And, before you buy all your stuff make sure to shop around, different websites have better prices on different things. I would double check with Newegg (www.newegg.com) at least before (if) you buy all the components.

EDIT, also, if you are not sure if everything is compatible, I would be happy to look it over before you buy it, and try and double check everything, the only thing that I'm iffy with is the wattage requirements for the PSU....but I could look into it easily, tons of tuts around the internet :p
