Procedure ramble;

begin

writeln(' Here's my delema: The pc I've been using for a few months (family computer, running on vista, fairly new) has some kind of firewall/virus thing (yeah, I'm not that great with computers). When I try to open firefox, the page cannot be displayed. Then I opened internet explorer. Worked fine. I thought it was just firefox at first, but then other programs couldn't connect to the internet e.g. FAWG, Java installer, certian games, etc. I can't run SMART properly so I have to only run one script at a time, overnight. I'm guessing it's a firewall, but I've searched countless times for one, and I found nothing.

So I'm wondering, should I pay to get it fixed so I can run SMART and reflection?')

end;

begin
ramble until(false);
end

why dont you check your firewall settings the firewall must be blocking the programs from connecting all you have to do is set the firewall to allow those connection to the internet what firewall you using and ill see if i can help you to get it working again

Lol give him a break... after all you did say: "(yeah, I'm not that great with computers)".

As long as you have tried all the free spybot and spyware removers and finders then yes.
