I was on IRC once and there were like a million people on. Then, the next day, nobody is on at all! :eek: Is this my problem or is it just that nobody is on?

I cant get on, it says i have to register to the channel or something, probably happening to most people, thats why no ones on.

I'm not quite sure what you mean but I just go to irc://irc.freenode.net/ the type


/nick whatever
/join #srl


or, if you have already "registered" then you type


/msg NickServ IDENTIFY password

when you get into srl. Post if I didn't answer correctly. (I don't think I did).

P.S.: I found that I didn't have to register.....

yeah no i log on, and it says, you have to be registered to view this topic or something, thats the problem im having

Do you use firefox? If so, try ChatZilla. It takes like two seconds to get and it is awesome. You just type in irc://irc.freenode.com/ in the status bar of firefox, and it connects!

See the "Registering you Nick section of Yakman's Tutorial (http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28996). That should work!

Tried that guide (I have same problem) and hasn't fixed it.
