No, I was trying to think of one. Lol. Sorry.

I was thinking if you had Adobe InDesign that you could use MK in a large font in black, then Videos in a smaller font in black, transform the text into a path, and the "Join" the layers.

It makes it look pretty cool.

Use Adobe Illustrator, not Adobe InDesign. Indesign if for making leaflets and booklets. Use Illustrator

EDIT: Im pretty handy in DW.

I dont really like either of them.

Now-days, websites have more of a Web 2.0 feel, like simplistic yet sleek designs, but neither of these satisfy the needs.

To be honest, it is hard to be the Client and the GD on a project, but you have to ask yourself as your client what would you look for in designs for your logo.

On the logo's you have produced, the second logo has nothing to do with Video's in general, the logo or typeface should encorperate something to do with the company you are portraying.

With the second design, it encorperates something like that, but the company is called "Video's" yet you encorperate a CD/DVD into the logo, which is peculiar. It would work if you could change the company name to "MK Rentals" or something. but with the DVD it currently doesnt work.

Take out some pen and paper and have a go at drawing a few designs before you get into the designing on a computer.

If you want I can draw a few quickly and scan them in to give you an idea of what to do.. although if the logo is not a big part of the project then it doesnt really matter, but if your brief requires a unique logo or something, give a shot at drawing before designing ^^

If you need any DW help, dont hesitate to ask, Im getting PS back on my computer soon, so give me some of your PSD's and Ill have a look through then ^.^

EDIT: Some quick Logo idea's I drew up;

Thanks for that Torrent

I am afraid the name is stuck at 'Mk Videos' but it is a DVD and Games website. However, I understand the need for it to be a video so thanks alot. Do you have a msn i could maybe have as i would love to be able to speak to you about this as i need alot of dreamweaver help. Thanks alot.
Also Torrent, do you make your websites in HTML or CSS?

Everyone else:

I now have to make a website for the company on dreamweaver. I was wondering if anyone could make a professional looking template for me or something. Some of you may call this 'cheating' but I obviously will change and all i want is someones help to make mine actually look professional (for example; rounded + shaded corners, custom shapes + texts, designs etc.). If you are not prepared to make one for me, if you could possibly drop me your msn that would be greatly appreciated.

There is templates already in Dreamweaver. Look up on the net about Dreamweaver, lots of useful shit out there.

EDIT: I use HTML and CSS
