Hey, I haven't been around here very much until recently. Im just wondering, whats the best things to know for autoing on a main?

Basically I want to know, are these programs relatively safe to the point that it would be worth the risk on a main?

And what are some monsters to fight on for level 70 def?

Im also looking for a fight cave runner, I heard they were pretty good; can somebody help me out?>

Thanks friends.

I don't know as much as most others on here but I think we can all agree that it's never "safe" to use any autos. To be truthful I don't like to use autos on my main but naturally I do because either I'm a moron or just impatient. I don't have a lot of time to cut wood or kill mobs just for xp, when I get on I want to quest or go to castle wars or something fun rather than try to meet skill reqs for a quest.

For what it's worth I guess my take on it is this, it's never safe but its a risk I don't mind taking.

Yeah, seeing as how I really aren't into this game much anymore, itll just be a risk Ill take.

:p i auto on my main all the time, trick is not to auto 24/7. Put it on at night, let it run for 9-11 hours, then stop it, go to school, when you get home from schoool, run it. let it sleep over night then run it during school :P. the trick is to have breaks, and run it at different times.

Yes, it is safe. However, do NOT auto for 7+ hours a day on your main.

Who plays RS for 7 hours?
No one. Lol.

Just try to make it have breaks, like blumble said.
Auto for 2 hours, break for 15 minutes, auto for 3 hours, break for 40 minutes, auto for 2.5 hours, etc.

Thats good. Use to have an ghost mouse that I would use to get mage levels, (lots of exp). But I think Jagex must have started cracking down harder since then, because I am hearing more people getting caught for auto alching when it used to never be a problem.

Do not use ghost mouse. Lol.

Like we said, you can auto on your main as long as you take care.

its never rely safe to auto on a character over 70+ combat if you are attached to it, like for example your main. if you wanted to you could do what i did and make an account just for autoing, i used my main a couple of times for autoing and one of the two times i got banned for 10 days, and about 3 days ago i used a cave runner and i abused it and ran it for about 36 hours and then for a couple of days for about 5-12 hours everyday and now hes banned for 10 days lol, so take my advice and not auto on your main, or read some tutorials on how not to get banned! :)

-lol have fun autoing and good luck!

You can auto on any account as long as you're safe.

I once autoed for 4 days straight and never got caught but then I went on another computer and used a different account and got banned on that account even though i autoed for about 4 hours

For a fight cave runner, i RECOMMEND USING Hy71194 fight cave runner, i use it all the time, the best there is, no better, logs for breaks, and comes back, and when i wake up in the morning after an overnight sessions, it's the only script that doesnt log out and wait like that

Yes Hy's cave running is one of the best scripts ever.
And when you auto, always expect to get ban.
But if you stay a member and only macro for 12 hours or less a day there is about a 99% chance you won't get ban.
But I stopped playing for 2 weeks (No autoing or nothing) and the day my membership expired I got a 10 day ban, which is proof that they usually don't blackmark if you're a member.

hey xraye....
How many black marks did it take for a 10 day ban?

RSbot has a great feature called Break Handler. I dunno if Scar has something similar, but it's something everyone should keep in mind. You want your bot to take breaks similar to what a real person would. Even if it's just 15 min breaks to stretch out, keep it realistic.

They don't do blackmarks anymore but I'm still in the green zone, even though I also have something in there for spamming.

Orlly? They don't do blackmarks anymore?

Since when?

XRaye

You still get punished they just don't TELL you how many black marks you have.

Not true cause i just got 1.6 bm for autoing...

Well I'm just so good at autoing that they don't want me to know when I'm about to get ban :p.

if you haven't been caught autoing, isn't the worse ban you can get is like a 10 day temp? and don't they even give you more temp bans after that? i don't know, that's just what I've heard. I've never been caught autoing. i have only gotten a warning for explicit talk lol. i guess the homophobes were serious when i offered them "sensual pleasuring" XD.

I've never actually been punished for autoing, and the thing with being less-likely to punish members is believeable.

I know Blizzard Entertainment does that with people botting World of Warcraft, when you create a trial, bot on that, and get banned a couple of days after upgrading it with a CD-Key.

just auto smartly and you have nothing to worry about.

Well, I know for f2p you dont need a really strong main because they kinda suck at pvp. All you really need is a decent pure to pk with and that wouldn't effect your main

Just remember the golden rule: log out every 9-12 minutes and stay smart.
I used to auto on my main and i never had any trouble...then i realized i wanted to raise the skills myself because i was a silly nublet..

thats kinda of a gravedig but since the topic is brought up again, i might as well put what i think.

members autoing = go for it! you have nothing to lose! (autoed back in the day with a lvl 100+ with full dragon)

F2P autoing = i'd be more careful. Jagex doesnt discern high levels from low levels here. (lost a str pure in F2P :()

I have autoed for 8 - 11 hours on one character for the past 5 days. I am probably gonna get banned any day now but that gonna stop me from getting as high levels as possible. Oh, and slowly wrecking the economy with a slow injection of extra items that should be not in the game.

The upside to macroing a whole bunch and believing you will be banned in a week, then after 2 months you have a 99 or two must feel great however. Macro for as long as you feel safe doing imo.

but i wouldnt use on a good main.

dont risk your account. unless its a back up 1 that you dont really really care.

I auto on my main. Because I believe in taking chances. I don't want to have to re-do everything I've done on a mule.. But as many have said before me, be smart about it. Don't go for 20 hours at a time, that is blatenly obvious..

I auto on my main for roughly 3 hours a day usually. Been doing it a long time and never got a warning.

I auto on my main, but i break up the times. A few hours like twice a day and thats pretty much it.
