Every time i try to use scar,i drag the crosshair, then i hit start,and it just freezes. Yes,i do have the latest revision and includes.

try ctrl+alt + del
and in the task manager (processes)
set the priority of scar.exe to high /realtime...

I think you've got to run scar as admin with vista, that way it works for me

Yeah, to do that, log onto Windows as Admin, then when you run SCAR, instead of just clicking it, right click it and click 'Run as Administrator'. Then it should work.


No offense to all VISTA users but i think its the worst thing microsoft made (next to microsoft itself :p) i would stick with windows xp or sumthing sympol.

Tbh Vista is much easier to use than XP (I think so anyway) :p The only thing I loathe about it is that it uses up a bit too much RAM/Cpu for my liking, but I'll live with that for all the extra features.

k, so it doesn't freeze up anymore,but it just says:

Successfully compiled (1522 ms)
Successfully executed

when i try to run a script.

This is very frustrating, i'm on my comp with XP now,but i have the same problem with every script i try.

Edit: stuff still freezing up >.<
