MSN Issues

I'm having issues with my MSN account. Trying to log in with it I've been getting a lot of errors, most recently "80072745". The problem seems to be with my account it's self. I made a new account and it works. I also had a friend try to log into the broken account with no luck. Having to make a new account is a pain, but not a major issue, however I need to talk to someone from my old MSN list, very soon, and I don't remember her email. If anyone can help me fix this account it would be great. If it helps at all the ID I can't use is richk1693@aol.com any other info you people can use just ask me, and thanks for any help anyone can give me.


EDIT : Most accurate solution I've seen so far is "Its a server based error therefore cannot be fixed by anything you do to your computer." I really hope that's wrong, but seems like it might be correct.

Yeah it's been happening today alot, servers crashing and such, they will probably fix it soon. for now use ebuddy or w.e it called.

I've tried other programs (Trillian) and it still didn't connect.

Okay, while typing this post Trillian connected. So solution is just wait for microsoft to get their shit together?

Me either, I just logged in a second ago (literally).

If it still didn't work, try deleting your files in /Documents and settings/Username/Application Stuffz/MSN, fixed for me.

MSN has several servers around the world and depending on which go down will depend on if you can connect or not...or so I read somewhere
