Wierd Problem- windows randomly freezing?

Im currently using vista and have a problem with word documents. Every time I compile a script and when I try to save a word document the window freezes. Its freezes and im unable to click on anything within the window. Now it hasnt stopped responding (its still running) but I cant close it without going to the task manager...

Ive never had this problem before and I have run the newest AVG antivirus scan with nothing at all coming up.

(its happened once in word and now twice in scar or every time I compile a script)

I think you need to run Disk Defragmenter, Disk Cleanup, then restart your computer.

Your Virtual Memory is getting clogged up :)

ty forgot about that. I was running a few games + runescape before and while I was running it.

also try restoring your computer because it might be caused by software u installed.....

No need restoring your computer.

Installed software wouldn't cause that, I don't believe anyways.

- Use Tune-Up Utilities to maximize your windows performance.
- If that doesnt work, change your windows theme to classic.
- If that doesnt work, install a new RAM.
- If that doesnt work, format your hard disk and re-install windows.
- If that doesnt work, buy a new computer :D ;)

Nah, but seriously, you probably just don't have enough RAM. Either buy a new stick of it, or just run less stuff at the same time.
