You shouldn't have made a poll.
You need a virtual machine to run it on a mac. (if I am correct)

Oh interesting. The information I read was apparently outdated. :)

Are you asking if it works on Mac? Answer is no.
Are you asking if it works on an apple computer running Windows? Answer is yes.
And if you are buying a new mac, it will come with Leopard, which is very east to bootcamp.

And buying a mac isn't? Yeay, I can pay a premium for something that only varries in software installed! Aren't I leet! (The hardware behind macs is exactly the same as the hardware behind PCs)
Essentially, your paying a huge price premium for something that looks good and gives you the ability to say "Yes, I'm superior because I spent more money on my computer! I also get to pay a price premium for every piece of software beyond that. (and be prepared to only have 30% of the regular software available to you...)
If you really want the mac experience (with out the price... So I guess it really isn't the mac experience) buy a PC, download Ubuntu, and put it on your pc. Because, guess what, the Mac OS for a large part is just a closed source linux environment (they even use the x server)

Your paying for a well designed product and a superior OS.
Edit: You mean closed Unix environment.

Your paying for a well designed product and a superior OS.Phew, yeah right... Good joke man :p
If you really want a superior OS, I repeat.. Get a PC and install a Linux of many, MANY available distros (http://distrowatch.com/) in it.

Pssh, If I wanted that then I would buy an asus laptop and put linux on it. Not only would I get something that 2x as fast as a mac for the same time, but I would get an OS that doesn't require me to pay 2x for anything I want to buy.
Oh, And I was serious about it being just another linux distro. Look up Xfree and macs, Guess what, Xfree wasn't developed my Mac, but they sure do use it...
Now here's the kicker. How is Mac OS superior to linux or even windows. (This ought to be fun)
Heres something else that should make you think. The cheapest mac book pro you can get is $2000. It includes
* Intel Core 2 Duo
* 15-inch widescreen
* 2GB Memory
* 250GB hard drive1
* NVIDIA GeForce 9400M + 9600M GT with 256MB
* Ships: 1-3 business days
*
* Free Shipping
* $1,999.00
Now for $1600 you could get a sony vaio which has
Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4GHz
Screen 18.4"
Memory Size 4GB DDR2
Hard Disk 250GB
Optical Drive BD Combo
Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
Video Memory 512MB
Communication Modem, Gigabit LAN and WLAN
Card slot One ExpressCard /34 slot
Dimensions 17.2" x 11.4" x 1.45 - 1.56"
Weight 8.8 lbs. (with standard capacity battery)
Tech Intel Centrino 2 Processor Technology
Other Features Fingerprint reader
Gee, the sony vaio looks like a superior product. In fact, it is vastly superior. But lets (for the sake of argument) assume that these two systems are equal. So you are paying +$400 more for a mac. Well, the only difference would be the software. So, windows Vista Home Premium costs about $120. If the only added feature is the software then you are paying $520 for your operating system.
Better then Vista? maybe. 5x better then vista? Definitely not. That price just isn't justified in any way. And just think, that $520 is the minimum when you considered that the hardware on the viao is more expensive then the hardware you use on the mac.
But the price to be able to gloat and say "Look at me, I waste money! That makes me important!" seems to compensate just enough for the small elitist group of mac owners.
